Q.

I-485 approved while Abroad

At present me and my wife are in India and our return date to USA is August 12th .
We left USA on April 17th and we have valid Advance Parole until April 2012.
When we left USA our status was pending I-485 . But now our I-485 got approved and USCIS already mailed the approval notice and green card to our home address in USA.
My question is that can I ask my brother to send our Green Card and approved I-485 notice to India via secure mail and can we use the new Green Cards to reenter into USA ?
What are the other options to reenter into USA without affecting our Green Card?
