Q.

required documents for AOS

I am an RN on H1B Visa. My immigration petition has been approved on employment based green card and my PD is Jan 2006. I am just waiting for visa numbers availability to apply for adjustment of status. When we were outside of USA, we were told that we need a visa screen certificate from ICHP/CGFNS for the Consular interview for the green card petition(as part of requirements). My questions is:Is the Visa screen certificate still a required document for my adjustment of status application as an RN? It's just that my cert is going to expire next month and there are again many requirements to obtain the said Visa screen certificate. I was just hoping that consular interview has different requirement vs. adjustment of status.
