Q.

H4B

I am currently on H1B & will be going for my MBA (in UK) in Mid Sep 2011.By the time I leave I would have already used up 5 years of my H1.My wife has filed for GC(EB3 March 2008), she will be filing for a new application(EB2) with the same employer, she got promoted to a manager. We are very hopeful that her old PD will get ported to new application and her dates will become current in sometime next year.
1.As I am going to be outside of US so when my wife files for her 485 do I need to be in US and on what status (H4B, visitor etc)?
2.I want to move to H4B so in case my wife cannot visit me I can come during my breaks, what are my options for going to H4B?
3.As I will be out of US for 1 year with 2 weeks of visit during this 1 yr to US, can I get fresh 6 yrs of H1B when I come back?
