EB2 qualification earned on a "contract to hire" position
I have a TN sponsoring company Comp_TN and I work at a client company called "Comp_GC" as a contractor on a contract to hire position. While I was still a contractor(Comp_TN's pay roll) I got my Master's degree. The client company Comp_GC wants to hire me full time with H1B and GC. The position is still the same. I understand that education and experience earned from the GC sponsoring company can not be counted. In my situation above, I was a contractor when I earned the Master's degree (Comp_TN's pay roll, not Comp_GC's). Can I file a GC with Comp_GC on this same position using my newly earned qualification (EB2) if the position is for EB2? or Will the GC position still have to be 50% different than the contract position? - Thanks -
