H1B extension beyond 6 yrs, transfers and GC filing
I work for comp A. I have 3 yrs extension on H1B beyond normal 6 yrs due pending AOS filed by comp A. I am planning to transfer H1B to company B.
1. If I transfer my H1B to comp B and I485 is denied. Will this denial invalidate 3 yrs extension of H1B I received right now? 2.Can comp B (not comp A) keep on extending my H1B based on pending AOS by company A. 3.My current H1B is for Programmer/Analyst but my new job is offering me a position of Sr Programmer/Analyst in the same field. can I still transfer H1?
4.If comp B files new labor, can I transfer my priority date from old labor? If yes, do I need to do that during I140 processing? 5.After transferring H1B to comp B, Can I file AC21 to keep my I-485 alive and still be on H1B? 6. Can comp B file AC21 and file a new labor for me?
