Q.

PERM filing by future employer

I have approved PERM and I-140 with my current employer. It was filed under EB2, India, October 2007.

I am planning to move to another firm in August that has started a new PERM process and will file it by June 17th. I have following questions:

1. Based on your experience, do you you see more audits for PERM applications where an employee will join company in future and is currently working elsewhere? I understand that GC is for future employment but have seen some discussion which suggests that such cases receive more frequent audits.

2. What is the PERM processing time and frequency of audits nowadays?

3. I am not in IT and will be working on a billion dollar plus company that has healthy earnings and profits. Does that affect chances of getting or not getting an audit?
