Q.

Expediting 824 process for consular processing

I'm an Indian citizen in EB2-RoW category (born in Abu Dhabi,UAE) which is always current. My Labor and I-140 are approved with PD of Dec 2009. I was holding off on filing 485 till I got married

My H1B was denied and I've moved back to India. I wont be able to go back to US on my current H1B. I want to go ahead with Consular Processing from my home country. The company lawyers have already filed 824. They tell me there is no way to expedite the 824 process and it might take 6-12 months for my local US embassy to respond, eventhough my priority date is current

Is there a way to expedite the 824 process or consular processing at any stage? I read about sending attorney certified documents directly to US embassy. Can this be applied to employment based GC applications?
