Q.

My 485 filing

My labor priority date : Sept 2002
My I140 is approved in 2009.
I have not filed my I485 due to retrogression
My wife priority date : June2006
Her I140 approved in 2006
She has files her 485 in Aug 2007 and added me as a dependent.

I have EAD as a beneficiary based on my wife’s 485

1. What kind of paper work do I need to file my 485? Like anything from employer and my personal detail?
2. I am with the same employer past 11 years who filed my labor. Do I need to be with him to file my 485 when date becomes current?
3. What if I am no more with my employer but employer wants to support me to file my 485. Is that allowed/legal?
4. If I leave my employer now and join some other company. Do I need to go back to my employer so that he can file my 485 when date becomes current?
