Q.

Consular Processing for Spouse

Am in the process of getting my employment-based GC. I have an approved I140, about to do biometrics & will be waiting for I485 approval therafter.
Last month I got married in Jordan.
I would like to sponsor my wife’s GC to come to the US.
My Lawyer is going to submit a follow to join application, but he is telling me that he is not going to submit it until I get my I485 approved.
1.Do we need to wait until I have an approved I485 to submit her follow to join case? Or can we do it now?
2.Lawyer’s estimate for her GC is 6-10 mnths after my I485, is this accurate?
3.Are there any advantages/disadvantages to submitting her I824 before my i485 is approved? How much time can we save in that case?
4.After I get my green card, must I stay in my current job until spouse's I824 is aprvd?
