Q.

Does this requirement qualify for EB2

Hello,

The Job requirement for the PERM CERT is "Master’s degree in IT with emphasis in database design and administration; or related IT degree".

I have a Master's degree in related IT degree. MS in Information and Communications Technology.

Will this qualify me for EB2 and am I eligible for the PERM with respect to my degree.

The first part is ""Master’s degree in IT with emphasis in database design and administration" is okay and it sounds EB2.

My concern is the second part " or related IT degree". Does this mean Master's degree in related IT degree.

I want to make sure that the requirement wording means either Master's in IT degree or Master's in IT related degree which will qualify me.

Please explain how the USCIS will interpret the requirement.

Thanks.
