H1B ammendment
It's been about 6 months since my H1b duties materially changed. My company's lawyer just realized that we should file for H1B amendment. My questions are as follows:
1. Does filing this 6 month late affect my H1b status?
2. when filing the h1b amendment, does the laywer state when the change in duties took effect? (meaning does the laywer has to tell USCIS that we were 6 months late)
3. I am very close for I485 EB2 ROW approval (about 3-4 months). Should I just wait for the 485 approval and not have the lawyer file the amendment?
4. If the amendment is filed now, would it affect my EB2 485?
5. When filing for H1b, I know one of the question asks if I140 has ever been filed? I have an appr.i140 from another employer (future), does my current company lawyer need to disclose it.
