Regarding applying DV lottery in status pending AOS
I am EB3, Registered nurse, from S.Korea. with my wife as dependent spouse (from Japan). my PD is July 2007. I know I should wait another few years to get my turn. While I wait for that, I thought I could try DV. as my wife is eligible as a Japanese, while I am not as Korean. Just wanted to make sure if applying it would not affect negatively on my pending AOS status, even if we are not selected for DV.
Any complications that could result in?
