In my I485 I like to add my fiancée as my wife who has been waiting for me to join in abroad. Economy & security clearance did not give me confidence to exit as an H1B,reenter & my wife could come as an H4. I like to travel with AP. I am choosing for her “following-to-join”. In order to make sure adding spouse, I like to add her in I485. Can I do that though I do not have marriage certificate yet? If I need, I can ask my parents to arrange the marriage over the phone & send the certificate so that the marriage certificate I can submit with my I485. Basically I like to start her process when I am filing my I485. Later in a suitable time with AP I like to visit her. If I seek marriage certificate in this way, would there be any issue in I485 & her “follow to join” process?
