I am a Canadian citizen (of Indian origin) and live in Canada. I work for a company which has its head-office in US. I work for that company's Canadian office (its a separate legal entity). I have been with the Canadian office for over 8 years now (after working 3 years for the US office) and work in a more senior position as a software architect.

My question is if my employer agrees to hire me as a senior software architect for the US company, would I be eligible for EB1 category? if not, would it help if I am hired as a Team lead or a manager?
