Q.

Advance Parole renewal and re-entry.

Thanks for your response. In continuation with previous question is, what if my ( renewal ) AP gets approved when I am outside the country while possesing current valid AP. Do, I still have to come back in the country before the 1st AP expires and then carry the already renewed AP for future travel ? Because, I dont have control if my renewal AP gets approved when I am outside the country in possesion of a previos valid AP.
1. Applied for AP renewal ( 16 Jan 09)
2. Travelling outside country on (25 Jan 09) with AP expiring on 15 May 09
3. Renewal AP gets approved by 31st March, I am still outside the country. Is this considered abandoning the process. Can I ever use this renewed AP which got approved when I was outside the country and holding a valid AP ( Which expires on 15 May 09?
