Q.

Priority date validity

I am working for a company in Colorado, I have I-140 approved with my current employer and also got 3 years H1b extension approved, which will expire in 2012.

Now I decided to resign my job and move back to India to take care of my family. However, I am thinking of coming back to USA after 3 years, may be with new employer that time.

My question is:

I have priority date on my approved I-140 as Apr 18, 2008 . Can I use this priority date
with new employer after 3 years? will it be valid and how?

Thanks for your help.
