Q.

EAD / AP Renewal (filed 07/22) and Current EAD Expiry (09/04)

1. Can we be on paid leave or unpaid leave ?
2. Can we work from our India office till the time we receive our renewal ? If yes, what will happen to the AP filed ? We currently have AP valid till Nov 2010. Can we use that to reenter ?
3. If we quit the job , will I-485 get impacted ?
4. Me & spouse are working on EAD and we will have to lose our jobs. Can this be a reason for expedited processing ?
5. What happens if we continue to work ? Can we use the 245(k) provision ?
6. We used AP to enter in May 2008 and July 2010. For the 245(k) purpose, will we be considered as being out of status for more than 180 days as we used the AP to enter in 2008 ? Or will the out of status be calculated from the date of our EAD expiry ?

Any other options we have ?
