Q.

EAD and AP expired

I completely forgot to renew my EAD and AP in time and now EAD expires this Friday while AP was only valid till April 2010. Currently working on EAD with pending AOS. I-485 was applied Aug 2007.

1)Can i remain US employee on unpaid leave ?
2)If I can't remain an employee will the gap affect GC ?
3)How does 245(k) section affect this situation if I continue to work or resign till valid EAD?
4)Can I still unofficially work, not bill hours and get paid as 'bonus' after getting EAD?
4)Can I apply for AP and leave without it to work for Indian branch and salary and still be on unpaid leave here?
5)If I have be on unpaid leave and sit, how much time is EAD renewal taking?
6)Should I go for paper of eFile option?
