Q.

Adding a dependent to pending I-485

My fiance has a pending I-485 application, which hasn't been approved yet. We are planning to get married this month. I was told that when we get married I can file my I-485 application as soon as the bulletin reaches his priority date.
According to this website http://www.immihelp.com/greencard/adjustmentofs... I can file my I-485 at ANY time before his application is approved.
The Nebraska Service Center is pre-adjudicating cases without granting green cards (due to visa numbers unavailability). It is very likely that my fiance's I-485 application will be pre-adjudicated before the visa bulletin reaches his priority date.
When am I supposed to file my I-485? Please elaborate. Can my filing affect in any way my fiance's case?
