I am working as a Design Engineer for a company. I have an EB3 PERM and I-140 approved for Design Engineer position with the company I am working for now. The requirement for the position was BS in Mech. Engg. + 0 Years Exp.

While working at this company I earned a MS in Information Technology(IT). The company I am working at has a CAD Admin position open and the requirement is MS IT or CS + 0 Years Exp. I am planning to do a EB2 Perm with the same company if I get hired.

Both Jobs 100% different

Question:

1. Someone told me that I cannot use the MS IT Degree that I completed while at this company to do a PERM at this company since I completed the degree after I joined this company.

2. Also Can't do EB2 with the same company that did EB3

Is this true
