H1B Transfer

I current work as H1B with company A. However, Company A had a plan to lay off within next 6 months. I want to transfer to company B and company B need me now.

1. If I transfer H1B to company B: submit transfer request via Fedex today and resign tomorrow. Can company A revoke my H1B? I suppose that USCIS receive my transfer request first (but only 1 day ealier than revoke request).

2. Can I transfer H1B to company B (process all paper works and submit to USCIS)? However, I still work for company A until my green card of company A is approved.

All of this is for a backup solution b/c I am so afraid that company A will lay off me and revork my H1B before I can find another job.

Any better recomendation and solution? Can company A know that I transfer H1B to company B?

2.
