Q.

Do an AC21?

I'm currently working for Company B (& didn't do an AC21) with EAD.Switched over from Co. A in Sept. We have approval for perm in new EB2 case and are about to file 140. Also we will be requesting USCIS to port previous EB3 priority date.
Questions:
1. Do we, prior to filing the new 140 need to do an AC21?. The reason I didn't file was since my PD was so far off in Mar 2005 with EB3.
2. If new 140 is denied does that affect previous EB3 case?
3. Should we do an AC21 prior to interfiling 485? When we interfile does it imply that the beneficiary has switched jobs?
4. If PD becomes current, is it better to interfile 485 as well or should I wait till 140 is approved?
5. How long is it taking USCIS for approval on 140 regular cases these days? Would you suggest going for premium?
