Q.

Current salary less than PERM Prevailing wage - AC21 Implication

Hello -
My EB2 PD is 06/2007; I-485 is filed during 07/2007 (so, my file is not coming for review before 2012).

a) I recently changed Jobs. My current salary is $91k (in MA), where as the prevailing wage specified in my labor is $95,997/- (filed in CA). That is a negative difference of $5k.
b) My current company prepared an AC21 with same job description as that specified in my PERM.
c) In AC21, my current company says that they will match salary specified in PERM, if/when GC is issued.

Questions:
Q1) Will filing AC21 be risky (for ex: denial of I-485 or something) with about $5k salary negative difference?
Q2) What is your advice for my situation? File AC21 or wait till I get a query from USCIS?

Thanks.
