Career change
Hi,
I got my green card in the EB1B outstanding researcher category last year (Jun 2009). I am working in the field of agricultural sciences. Now I am thinking of a career change to pharmacy because I am not enjoying my profession in the agricultural field. In order to become a pharmacist I need to do the Pham D program. In order to apply for the program I need experience in pharmacy to be competitive; so if I resign my present job as a researcher and start working as a pharmacy technician (which requires only a high school diploma)to gain experience in pharmacy, will I have problems during citizenship interview? How long do I need to stay in my present job/field to make a career change? It is already close to one year since I got my green card.
