Q.

EB 2 application from existing EB3 employer

Status : work permit for self and spouse available
Home country - India
Working for same employer since april 02 (Pittsburgh-PA) - PD July 2003 for EB3 under Mech Er category.
Mechanical engineer,DBM,MBA from India and have 10 years of rich engineering experience in India b4 joining this company in US.
What is better route for me to get my GC asap -Wait for Eb3 PD to be current or reapply using earlier experience and qualifications in EB2 category.
Can I reapply using the same employer under a different job title or can I use the same job title of mechanical ER.
If I have to travel should I use the AP available or go to consulate In india for restamping with available H1 status approved till April2012 with family. Can I use AP if H1 stamping is denied for some reason in india.
