Q.

Change employer after Green Card

I am working as a software consultant. I received my EB2 green card on 04/12/10. The client where I am working at wants me to become permanent with them. How long should I wait before I can leave my sponsoring company and go permanent with the client?

I heard that it could be considered as an immigration fraud if somebody leaves the sponsoring company right after obtaining the green card. So what is a reasonable period of time that would show that I had the intent to work for the sponsoring company?
