Q.

I140 APPROVED, I485 APPLYING DATE NOT CURRENT

hello sir,

i have a I140 approved date of Apr 2008 but the date is not current to apply for the I485. So I have approved I140 but have not yet filed for I485 because of prorotiy date not being current yet.

I am looking to change my job keeping similar job responsibilities as my current employer. Will I be able to keep the same I140 priority date of Apr 2008, if i change employers with the same job profile?
