Q.

AC21- Same or Similar job but in different industries

Maintained H-1B from Aug 2000 to Jan 10, 2010. I-140 approved and filed for AOS under EB3 in July 2007. 485 is pending. EAD is valid till Sept 2010. Laid off recently from K-12 school(GC sponsor). Job title is Computer Science Teacher and Job description is: To instruct students and staff in school. Assist in Curriculum Tech Integration and Technology Coordinator. The alternative job title was "Software Engineer" in PERM application. The OES code is 25-3999.99. Now I have a job offer with same job description and title " Technology Trainer" from a technology company whose clients are K-12 schools. Salary is also same. Only difference is new employer is not K-12 schools but a technology company.
Can I expect to continue my GC process with new employer? or my new employer has to be school?
