Q.

H1B Extension beyond six year

Hi:
we have pending audited PERM, filed in Aug 2008.My 6th yr H1B will expire Sep2010. I am planning to request my employer for initiating the extension process. Could you please explain in detail the steps & time frame involved in the whole process(PWD, LCA, I-129 etc.,)? My employer is new for H1B process and i am only the guy with h1b status in the whole hospital. I have two dependants(h4)also, 4month recapture(unused) time left with initial H1B.
With current trend of DOL processing time, when we could expect the determination on audited PERM application? In case of, after getting 1yr h1b extension, PERM denial by chance, is it possible to start new PERM with same title and potential problem involved?

Thank you, Raj
