H1B transfer after I140 approval
Dear Wilson, I was very much satisfied by your detailed answers to the posts & would like to Thank for your services.
Here is my brief: I have my approved I-140 from my current employer-A and I am intended to move to employer-B. I am in my 6th year of my H1 which gets expire in 1st quarter of 2011 and I didn't file for I-485 yet. I know that, if I move to employer-B, based on my I-140 approval from employer-A, I might get 3yr H1 extension with employer-B.
My question is: My employer-A did not provide me a copy of approved I-140, so can new employer-B file for my H1 transfer with out having a copy of my I-140 from employer-A? What are the options here to move to employer-B keeping in view of my current status? Are there any ways of getting a copy of my approved I-140 from USCIS? Thanks!
