H1-b extension and Green Card
This is my situation.
1] I have MS from US and have been working for Company A for the past 4.5 yrs and they have filed my H1-B twice. I am currently in my 5th year of H1-B.
2] Company B had applied for my green card, and my labor and I-140 were approved. I come in EB-2(India) and my priority date is Feb 2008.
3] Company B was acquired by Company C, in Jan 2010 , and company C purchased me as an asset and they plan to continue my green card process.
Now my questions are,
1] For my 7th year H1-B extension (assuming my GC process is still going on), which company should/can file for my H1-B extension?
2]Also, will my labor and I-140 have to be re-done by Company C or they can just continue with the green card process? How does this affect me?
