I-140 Approved, pending Consular Proc; can I change employers?
This is my current situation:
- received an approved I-140 with my current employer
- EB-3 dates for Philippines are still far behind
- my US work visa has maxed out
- I am going back home but will continue via Consular Processing
- I have already paid the NVC fee of $400
I am essentially just waiting for the priority dates to pass mine (Oct 2004)
Can I seek other employment outside of the US for a different employer without invalidating my approved I-140 or the NVC process?
