Q.

H-1B transfer to a different job function

I am currently working as a Software Engineer on H-1B for a company A which is into Telecommunications. I have an approved PERM and I-140 through this company. I completed 6 years on my H-1B and based on my approved I-140, I got a 3 year extension on my H-1B which is valid until Jan 2013.
My Questions:
1. Can I join a company B which is a financial company for a different position i.e. Product Marketing using H-1 transfer (I have necessary qualifications)?
2. Can company B obtain a 3 year H1-B based on my approved I-140 from company A even though it's for a different Job Function?
3. If I join company B and they apply for PERM and I-140, will I be able to make use of the priority date from my approved PERM from company A even though it's for a different job function?
