Q.

AP Renewal Fees

I applied for renewal of my AP(I485 filed after July 31st 2007) at Nebraska center on Feb 8th, till now, I haven't received any receipt notice. I read in USCIS that renewal fees is waived if filed after July 31st. So, have applied for my renewal of AP with sending the check. But figured out, it is required.

Considering the fact that my AP is going to be rejected, is it ok to file again with fees included without waiting for the earlier application to get rejected?
