Q.

EB1a -dependent follows to join

My daughter filed her 1st 485 with me (EB2, PD 3/20/2006). Now her Dad's EB1a 485 was approved, and she wants to get Green card based on her dad's approved EB1a 485 so that she can have green card to apply for college(She is junior in high school now, will apply for colleges after this summer). So:
1.which way is faster and better, relink or file 2nd 485?
2. For EB2 dependent(follows to join), the 485 processing time will not the same short at the EB1a 485 principle? Generally,How long it will take EB1a dependent(follows to join) to get green card if filing 2nd 485?
3. Can we not withdraw the 1st 485 while fie the 2nd 485?
4.The result of 2nd 485 will not affect the 1st 485?

Please reply as soon as possible.

Thanks
