EB3 Retrogression
A Traffic engineer from Ghana working in CT since 2005. H1-B expiring October 2011. Company began GC process in 2007. Even with a Masters, company lawyers were hesitant to file in the E2 category because my current wage was not up to prevailing wage. Filed it under the E3. I-140 approved with priority date January 2008.
With the retrogression of the E3 category,it seems like it's going to take awhile before I can even apply for I-485. It also looks like there might not be any legislation that will move priority dates faster. what do you advise me to do get a green card faster?
