Transition from I-140 to I-130

I'm being laid off since my position is no longer required. We filed based on the labor certification with the priority date of 09/04/2002. Then, we filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently at the end of August 2007. I'm no longer on H1B and only have EAD valid for 2 years which I just received in September 2008. I have already used my AP once and applied for the second one long ago. I'm in EB3 category, and my I-140 was not approved yet ( I'm in Nebraska Center).
My manager told me that I have until the end of December 2008 to find a different job.
My boyfriend and I are to get married. What would be the best way to do it in terms of a safe transition from one status to another? Shall I continue to go to work until the end of December and file I-130 meanwhile?
Thank you!
Arina.
