Pending EB3 green card, Feb/2008 Priority Date and new Job Offer

Hi guys, I am currently on an H1B visa, my company applied for my green card and my priority date is 2/11/2008 on EB3. My H1B was also extended, I am past the 6 year mark and managed to get it renewed for another 3 years so it expires 2/2012 because I have an approved I-140. My current situation is that I have been offered a job at a new company and they are new to the whole immigrant worker situation. What will I need to do to make the jump to the new company and how will it affect my current H1 status - can I transfer it? Does that take long? And how would it affect my EB3 application. There is a 90% chance my current job may not withdraw the EB3 application. My new job would also be willing to petition for my green card too. Please give a response clear enough to share with them too.
