I-140 application
PERM applied on Dec 19, 2007, APPROVED in Jan 2010.
Got 1 year H1-B extension (this is my 8th year on H1-B) till Dec 21,2010 based on pending PERM.
Now the employer is closing my location on Jun 25, 2010, i.e. 4 more months.
Question:
Can my employer file for I-140 ?
If I-140 is filed under premium, we can get a result in 15 days.
Is there a chance it can get rejected ? In which case, will it affect my ability to get a 1 year extension based on the approved PERM ?
