My status in USA:

1. Currently in USA on H1B visa.

2. Green Card: EB2 India labor approved, 140 approved, 485 filed BY AN employer I used to work with in past. I did not file AC21 yet for new employer and did an H1 transfer.

3. My wife is on H4 and her green card hasn't been filed.

4. My priority date is Apr 2007.

I'm planning to migrate to Canada for few years. Is it possible to continue my green card process in USA while I'm in Canada ? I won't be working for this employer while I'm in Canada but can I have intent to return once my green card is approved ?

Please let me know if I have any such option.
