I have my I-140 approved with my current employer in EB-2 with priority date December 2007. I am from India so its a huge backlog. I want to go back to india for 2-3 years for studying and work after resigning from current employer. My question is, if I go back to India for 3 years and come back later with a different employer who will then file my GC,will my PD remain same( provided same rules are there then). I heard its alien based.

Putting simply, if I go out of country and come back after some years and apply a fresh GC with a new company, will the PD remain same ?

Also, after 3 years, can I come with a fresh H1B for 6 years
