Q.

H1 extension

Hi,
My husband is in H1 6 year and it is going to expire on dec 2010 .He applied for perm in nov 2009,his lawyer applied for one year extension in jan 15 2010.My questions are
1. If my husband get one year extension it is good so we will get H1 upto dec 2011.Can my husband get one year extension with out any problem depending on 365 day rule.And if he got h1 extension can he change employer incase any layoff.
2.Is it necessary to go india and come back after one year.if we do like this can he get H1 again for 6 years.please explain this process.
3.Can he change to H4 and come back on H1 afterwards.
3.Please suggest what are the ways we have in this situation.
