My question
1) I work in a Civil Engineering firm in Chicago area due to cold weather most of our active construction projects are shut down and there lack of work .Our company has laid me off temporary for couple months and they said they will call me back as soon as the work pick up.
2)will I be eligible for unemployment Benefits as I have EAD.
3) will it have impact on pending green card process as per USCIS memo collecting unemployment benefits is not a public charge.
please Advice.
