I have an Advance Parole (pending I485) that expires in March 2010. I plan to apply for renewal now (in December) but will be travelling out of country extensively over the next few months on work using my current AP. Is that permissible? Would I be required to remain in the US for biometrics or any other purpose while my AP is being processed? Is there a possibility of my AP getting denied or me not being allowed re-entry because I travelled out of country while my AP renewal was pending? Will I be able to enter back to the US with my current unexpired AP even if a new AP is sent to me in the meanwhile? Are there any other risks or concerns that I should be aware of?
