Move pending I-485 EB3 (ROW) to consular processing?
I have an I-485(employment based) under EB3(ROW)category, with priority date of January/2007. The application was received by texas service center back in July 2007, and still pending for processing. My I-140 was approved already, and just waiting for the I-485 outcome.
I'm planning to move to canada next month, for work and continue some studies. My current employer here in the U.S agrees to continue the sponsoring and re-hire me again.
My questions are:
1- Can I move my I-485 pending at (TSC) to be processed abroad (consular procesing), and if I can what are the steps involved with it?
2- How the Consular process works, and how long do you think is it going to take if we compare it with AOS?
3- What are my best options from your point of view?
