Concurrently filed 140,485 in Jul 07.
My wife (dependent) moved to EAD during Sep 07 and she never applied for AP.
In Sep 08, got ability to Pay RFE on 140 and attorney responded with evidence in time.
After 2 months 140 was denied due to RESPONSE NOT RECEVIED.
Our 485's got denied in Dec 2008 based on I140 denial.
Attorney filed MTR for 140 along with proof that USCIS had received response.
140 approved in Feb 09 and my wife left the country (without AP) and came back on H4.
During this time my 485 got reopened but not my wifes.
Filed MTR for her in Jul 09. As of today no response from USCIS neither on MTR nor on her 485.

Why USCIS is not re-opening my wife's I485 case?
Is it okay if we write letter to USCIS?
Is there any phone# that we could call?
