Hi,
Here is my situation of GC process thru my current employer.
1.PD : 03/07/2008
2.Category : EB3
3.I-140 : Approved on 05/27/2009
4.H1B : Expiring in Jan 2011
Personal :
Qual: MS in Electrical Engineering in US.
Year 2005
Exp : 6 + years in Telecom
Position : Technical Manager

1) I joined as System Integrator in Sep 2005 and have been promoted as Technical Manager in December 2008. Can I convert my EB3 to EB2 with the same job and employer ?

2) If I switch employer now or in a couple of months,
a.should I have served the new company for any specified amount of time before they can file my green card
b. by when should the I140 be approved, for me to get a H1b extension, with my current H1B expiring in Jan 2011.
Thnx,
SV.
