Q.

Priority Date Portability (EB3 to EB2) Different Companies.

My question is on Portability.

I am the primary petitioner and I have 2 approved I-140's, both the I-140's have the same A#, as does my I-485.
1. EB3 - Apr 2002 Priority Date - Company - ABC - I work here
2. EB2 - July 2006 Priority Date - Company - 123 - Future employer.

Q 1) Can I port my Priority date? (EB3 Apr 2002 to my EB2 I-140 and become current? - in the Nov bulletin EB2 is Jan 2004)

I attended the I-485 Interview in San Fransisco Local Office in Feb 2009, I was told that once the Visa numbers were available I would get my Green Card.

If I try the portability:
Q 2). Should I open a InfoPass and go to the Local Office or do it via the Service Request method.
Q 3). How do I do the portability?
Q 4). Any risks in doing porting?
