Hi - My I 140 is approved, 485 pending for more than 180 days. I am still working for my sponsoring company though and am maintaining and want to maintain my H status thru them. I have gotten my EAD and travelled on AP abroad. Now my sponsoring company is asking me for a copy of my EAD card.
Is it safe to give them a copy of the EAD even though i want to maintain H1 status with them. is it normal for consulting copies to ask for EAD copies? Do i suspect foul play on their part...they migh be thinking that i am trying to move away into a full time position.
