| Q. |
AC21 and implications of any future lay-off/job-change.
Hello -
- Company-A has applied my PERM [07/07-Approved], I-140 [Approved-07/08] & 485 [concurrent; filed-07/07]. Had a H1B with comp-A.
- Got a lay-off from company-A and joined company-B [did not file AC21]. Comp-B filed my H1B and is approved. I am in H1B status now.
- Now, company-C is offering me a good job and offers to file AC21 & H1B.
- The job profile in all the 3 companies is the same.
- Also, comp-A did not revoke my I-140.
Questions:
a) If comp-C files my AC21, what are the implications for my GC, if there is a future lay-off OR I opt for a job change??
b) Can comp-C revoke my GC or I-140 in future, since they filed AC21?
c) Is there anything adverse [with respect to future job change] with filing an AC21?
